Valdobbiadene
A destination with a landscape tended by the people who have preserved its harmony. Valdobbiadene and its checkerboard landscape are characterized by rows of vines, arranged vertically along the slopes in narrow, grassy terraces called “ciglioni”. The territory, enriched by villages and hamlets, maintains a strong connection with the winemaking culture handed down from bygone times, fostered by nobles and monasteries. Indeed, in 1868, the Treviso Enological Society started a revolution in the wine sector, leading to considerable social and cultural development over time.
