Beekeeping Festival and Local Flavors

Every year starting from October 13, Limana hosts its traditional Beekeeping and Agriculture Festival which lasts for five days. The program includes a variety of events, including an exhibition of school drawings, conferences on beekeeping, awards, scavenger hunts for children, walks to discover wild flora, and much more.

A notable feature is the competition “The best honey produced and packaged in the province of Belluno-Dolomiti”, with a qualified jury to evaluate the participants.

The event continues with a series of events, including a conference on the world of honey and a guided tasting of honey in competition. The festival is a unique opportunity to celebrate and showcase beekeeping, agriculture, and local traditions.
